July Beauty & Fashion Wish List
Each month I will be putting together a list of products that I REALLY love for that month. This is the first one!
So, these are the products I am lusting over this month.
1. Hi top wedges
Yes, I am afraid I have fallen fowl of the simply huge high top wedge trend. I love the casual but somehow classy look of these trainers-come-wedges. I think it’s a great shake up for wedge-kind and give us girls a chance to rock a different look this summer. The featured hi-tops above are from Asos and must for my wish list, not only are they hi-top wedges but they give a little something feminine with lovely floral detail.
2. Satchel
I love a pretty but functional bag, and right now I am salivating over the stunning Cambridge Satchel pastel range. My favourite colour is purple, and this gorgeous shade of lilac is so on trend it hurts. I need a bag with all the practical pockets and laptop space as well as something that just screams sophistication. If I could, I would put this on every one of my wish lists. Forever.
3. Lip crayons
I have never really gotten on with lipstick for some reason, something about the texture or similar puts me off. I have seen lots of talk about lip crayons amongst the fashion and beauty crowds and would really like to give these a try. Might be a great alternative for people who are not so keen on lipstick. 4. Colourful flats
When thinking about Rocketdog I look back to my teenage Goth years and remember tough looking black boots which went great with my funereal look. These days I am trying to be more colourful and who can resist a pair of colourful flats for when you’re feet need a rest from those gorgeous hi top wedges! For someone who finds it hard to wear bright colours I think these are a nice way to get some bright, bold on trend colours in your summer look.
5. Ultimate blouse
Now I work in an office, albeit a casual one, and sometimes it’s nice to swap from t shirts to something a bit more formal but yet with a bit of alternative style. This blouse from Joe Browns is perfect for those slightly fancier days, but still casual enough to wear out after work. Teaming this with a pencil skirt and some colourful jewellery would be my suggestion!
