Review: Jolie Beauty Bomb Dot Com Glitter Eyeshadow Palette

If you have ever seen me with a full face of makeup you will know that I love eye shadow, especially mixing contrasting colours to create a really eye catching look. I go from sophisticated complimentary colours to wild mixes of colours that clash!

I love to try and match my eye shadow to my outfits although often I just try and bring out the bright blue of my eyes which are one of my favourite features. At this time of year with both Halloween and Christmas on the horizon, I love to use seasonal colours and a bit of sparkle to up my eye shadow game, so when I was offered the chance to try out the Bomb Dot Com 24 Colour Eyeshadow Palette from Jolie Beauty I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.

You can’t help but be amazed when you open the lid on this palette, the amount of sparkle is mind-blowing. The eye shadows are easy to apply as they have a gel-like consistency. You can either apply the glitter with your ring finger or if you’re looking for more precision use a brush to press the glitter onto your lids. I have worn the glitter on its own and it has lasted all day, but it works even better with the use of an extra fixer such as on top of concealer or primer, or applied with a little glitter glue or setting spray – all of these things make them last even longer.

The glitter shadows work great on individually but you can take it to another level by mixing two or more together to make something really spectacular. If you’re doing a full-face look I would recommend starting with your glitter eye look first to make sure any loose bits of glitter don’t end up all over your freshly applied face.
