Halloween Spider Mini Soaps

It’s that time again, Halloween season is upon us! Are you prepared? Is your house decorated? Do you have candy for trick or treaters? How about craft supplies ready for a Halloween themed activity?

If you’re looking for something fun and seasonal to whip up with the kids, these super cute (I mean spooky) Halloween Spider Mini Soaps! You might think that making soap is a long ordeal but when you use melt and pour soap it’s quick and easy to make. They make a great little addition to your seasonal themed bathroom or why not make Halloween themed self-care gift sets for friends or family?

Supplies:

  • 225g glycerin melt and pour soap
  • Mini toy spiders
  • 15 hole cylinder silicone mold
  • Large microwave safe spouted measuring cup
  • Wooden craft stirring stick

Directions:

  1. Chop up the melt and pour soap base into 1 inch cubes.
  2. Pop the squares into a microwave safe spouted measuring cup.
  3. Put the measuring cup into the microwave and heat on high for 30 second increments, stirring well after each heating session, until soap is completely melted.
  4. Pour a small amount of soap into each cylinder in the silicone mold and immediately put 2-3 spiders on top, upside down.
  5. Fill up the mold with soap base, pouring over the spiders.
  6. Leave the soaps for 30-60 minutes in the mold to set then remove from the mold.
