Foodie Penpal April

This month I was lucky enough to be sent a yummy foodie penpal parcel from Jenna of Sausage Tarts & Marmalade Rolls.

It’s always hard when you get asked what you like, don’t like, want, don’t want.. but Jenna did a fantastic job of playing to my sweet tooth this month with some fantastic goodies.

On opening my box I was amazed to see some homemade peanut butter – I love peanut butter so this was a really great start! Secondly, there was the bar of chilli chocolate from Lindt and lastly there was a carefully wrapped stash of homemade peanut butter & chocolate squares!

I love receiving hand-made items in my foodie penpal box and the squares are really delicious with a sweet nutty flavour from the butter and deep chocolate mixing together with a bit of crumbly texture to make a really great afternoon treat to have with coffee.

Jenna kindly included the recipe for the squares and I can’t wait to give it ago – Thanks Jenna, great job!
