Review: Knobbly Knees Deli Vegan Treat Box

When is better to share a review of some to die for vegan goodies, than Veganuary?

Run by a local family, Knobbly Knees is a store for eco-friendly goods and tasty plant-based food, including fresh and tasty takeaway food. You will find the shop in the heart of Sevenoaks which is only 20 mins or so away from where I live

The Deli was born out of a need to make a difference in the fight against the climate crisis – it is well known now that eating less meat and reducing our waste is key in this fight. Knobbly Knees provides waste-less pantry essentials, homewares and gifts to the people of Sevenoaks and the surrounding area. They also have an amazing deli counter serving a range of seasonal food, vegan ‘cheese’, baked goods and sweet treats!

Although January is usually seen as the month when people try to give up sugar, Veganuary is all about promoting veganism and celebrating plant-based brands and treats, so why not try one of the Knobbly Knees treat boxes?

I ordered one a few months ago, via Etsy, and was amazed when a generous box of decadent hand-made cakes, brownies, loaded flapjacks, hand made fudge and pick and mix was dropped off at my door. Each bake is hand made in the professional kitchen at the Knobbly Knees Central and carefully packed in plastic-free packaging.

No one will judge you for keeping the box all to yourself (that’s what I did), but if you are feeling particularly generous and wish to send one as a gift, handwritten gift cards and ribbon are available upon request.

As each box is made with fresh, seasonal goodies, the contents are subject to change but the box always contains at least one brownie, one stuffed flapjack, 9 chunks of fudge, 200g jelly sweets and two other surprise bakes! All are vegan and 100% delicious.

I honestly couldn’t get enough of the brownie and flapjacks! They are simply to die for. I think the Lotus Biscoff flapjack was my ultimate favourite.

I award the Knobbly Knees Deli treat box 5 out of 5 and can’t wait to order my next one!
