Review: AA Skincare’s Seaweed & Aloe Eye Gel

Life can be tiring. As a woman who works full time, blogs whenever I can, runs a house and keeps a husband I sometimes need some help to keep my complexion looking fresh. Everyone knows the horror of dark circles under the eyes, so when I was offered the chance to try the Seaweed & Aloe Eye Gel* from AA Skincare I jumped at the chance to see what I could do for me.

AA Skincare’s Seaweed & Aloe Eye Gel is described as a product to help rehydrate and restore the delicate skin around the eyes and offer a gentle make up removing option with a cooling effect. The product uses aloe vera (anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties), mineral-rich seaweed, extracts of Eyebright and Cornflower (soothing) and cucumber (hydration and calming).

This product is part of a new AA Skincare Essential’s range which is made up of a selection of aromatherapy creams, gels, cleansers, moisturising lotions and skincare products. AA Skincare uses traditional formulas with exotic herbs, spices, perfumes and oils inspired by the souks and markets of near eastern countries.

I like that the AA Skincare’s Seaweed & Aloe Eye Gel comes in a handy 50ml pot which is recyclable, and has a pump dispenser making it easy to dispense. I like the texture of this product, it has a pleasant thick gel consistency. If using to remove make up I recommend using a cotton pad, but if you’re using as an under eye gel simply gently apply with fingertips.

The eye gel is certainly soothing and cooling, it makes a nice treat at the end of a long day! My skin feels refreshed and hydrated. The product is formulated for sensitive skin which is a bonus as my skin can sometimes react to harsher products. I award the AA Skincare’s Seaweed & Aloe Eye Gel 4 out of 5 stars.
