Is London a place for single people?

Normally the summer would bring happiness, sunshine, heath and a tan. Normally. Because this year in London the summer seems everything except summer. People are moody, they moan about the rain, the cold, the jacket which is always on and therefore forget about love. I mean, honestly.

How am I supposed to meet someone in these conditions? I am considering to go back to Tiger Tiger!

At this point, it’s not a surprise to hear from many people that they have the online dating as a solution. It is very common especially in London. And there is nothing wrong with it, I heard romantic classic stories of couples who met, fell in love, got married, and lived happily ever after…but how is that true?

Online dating is like a huge amazon where you go shopping. And you can choose your guy/gal, look at the description of the product, ahem, sorry, of the person, look at the pictures (the more the better) and if it is suitable (translated: normal looking/good looking) you would wink and wait to hear back.

It’s quite interesting to see the mechanisms of the online dating, apparently it’s very regulated as a chess game.

The girls should wait for the guy to make a move first. Never ever wink or send a message. The girls should be very, very patient. In fact they need to bear with messages and winks from at least 80% of guys who are just awful, and every now and then get a signal from someone actually considerable.

The dates are also very interesting.

Once the couple meet, they normally go for drinks or coffee. No, scratch coffee. Drinks are much better because alcohol helps to break the ice.

Unless they are lucky because there is a strong attraction since the beginning, alcohol can help just a little. In fact the first date from a website is usually a disaster.

If you like interviews, then you should go for online dating. Even better, they’re interviews with cocktails.
