Review: DoodleStamp personalised return address stamp

Over the years I have had a number of penpals and recently I have been spurred on to find new penpals thanks to joining a Facebook Group for Bullet Journalists looking for correspondents.

Part of Bullet Journalling, and of having course penpals, is stationery. Of course pens, paper, envelopes etc are vital when writing letters and something I like to do is include a return address on my envelopes to ensure that any recipients don’t have to find their address book in order to respond.

Having spent some time trying to come up with an easy way to apply return addresses to my envelopes and having dabbled with the idea of printing stick labels and getting quickly bored of this method I decided to look for an alternative and decided upon a personalised return address stamp which would be easier and faster than printing labels.

I found a personalised return address stamp which had a lovely layout and nice use of fonts in an Etsy shop from DoodleStamp, based in Cheshire, England and I decided to buy it. I decided on including my full name and address on the stamp and I selected that I wanted it mounted on an acrylic block so I could start using it straight away.

Within 24 hours of submitting my order I was sent a proof of my custom stamp design which looked perfect and once I had confirmed DooddleStamp went ahead and made the stamp. When it arrived the stamp was around  2.75″ x 1″ (70mm x 25mm) in size and was well made with clear lettering without any imperfections and good spacing between the letters. The stamp was mounted beautifully onto the acrylic block, perfectly straight. In fact, it looked exactly like the proof!

I have really enjoyed using my personalised return address stamp which creates a clear and attractive impression on envelopes heading out to my penpals. I really recommend DooddleStamp for anyone looking for a custom stamp and award it 5 stars.
