What is Hand Analysis? My Experience and Review
When you hear the words ‘hand analysis’ you might automatically think of an old lady in a tent at a carnival reading palms and telling fortunes. Honestly, before my experience I pictured the same thing, however, now I know better!
Hand analysis is totally different from palmistry and has nothing to do with future reading, but instead helps you to learn more about yourself. Scientific hand analysis is a field of study that is growing in use and regard by therapists, counsellors and even neurologists and geneticists.
Hand analysis enables you to gain fascinating insights into your emotional health, life purpose, your outlook, and overall tendencies. All of which are discerned through analysis of the prints of our hands.

Although I admit, I was a little sceptical I decided I would give it a go. So on a nice, sunny day I went outside and took some photos of my palms – and of my thumbs, and sent them off to be analysed.

So, what do I think of the results? To be honest I was pretty surprised that a lot of it does correlate with my understanding of my personality and traits.
Particularly the service to others part. Over the last few years, I have joined a number of organisations and quickly gone on to join committees and leadership teams so that I can do the best for that group that I can. I find that often I give too much of my time away to these groups and need to focus some time on myself – just as it says in the ‘what am I here to learn’ section.
I also note the report mentions managerial instincts and an organised approach which is fairly spot on – I think anyone who knows me will tell you I love to be organised and structured. Spreadsheets are my best friends and I hate being late for anything!
I also picked out the mention of being creative and having good manners. I have been creative since a young age, loving crafts in particular, and I always endeavour to be polite, respectful and generally have good manners.
Overall, I enjoyed the process and found the results intriguing. Just from sending a couple of photos, I received this impressive report. There’s nothing that particularly surprises me in my results, however, it is interesting to see that many personality traits which I already recognise in myself have been picked out.
