Itunes Festival at the Roundhouse in Camden

Yesterday I went to the Itunes Festival because one of my dearest friends and also companion of tears (we are doing the dissertation together, as in the same place every weekend) has invited me at the last minute on Friday night.

Milton works within the mobile advertising industry, and Apple has organised a dinner+ Usher’s gig at the Roundhouse in Camden for some of the people like him. It was very interesting to get to meet them, they are all young (25-30 would be the average.

It is been my first time at the Roundhouse, and it’s since long time that I wanted to experience a gig there. Surely I wouldn’t have imagined that I would have gone to see Usher.

He really is not my cup of tea, the music is sort of commercial- club kind of thing, which never really appealed to my Spotify.

But if it is free…

After dinner, Milton, myself and others went at the bar for a drink, and that actually did boost our excitement for this gig. The air was electric, and things got even better when, after we found our seats, we realized that Jessie J was sitting just a couple of meters away from us. Boom! we got to seat close to a celebrity. That was unexpected.

Once seated, we decided to take a picture of us and share it on Facebook.

Here we are:

Immediately after we took a picture of us, the countdown started on the screens of the stage, and all became blue after the zero:

I have to say, it was pretty cool.

They did try to create the suspense before Usher came out on the stage, and once he did, the whole stage became red, dancers were involved in nice suggestive movements, the music itself was cool. Milton started dancing all over, really making me feel that I should have done the same.

So there we were, dancing like in a club, just next to Jessie J, and having soo much fun!!

Here a few more pictures:

So this would give you an idea of what is been my Saturday evening like.

Pretty cool, I have to say!
