Introducing Mr & Mrs Levachyov

Wedding Cake

After a 2.5 year long engagement and 2 years of blood, sweat and tears finally I am officially a Mrs!

Our Wedding took place on the 18th August on the Golden Hinde (Sir Francis Drake’s Gallion at London Bridge). I walked down the aisle in the Captain’s Cabin to Shania Twain’s ‘From this moment’ to join my Fiancé before the registrar where we vowed to love and support each other for the rest of our lives. After the ceremony which was luckily only a short one (it happened to be the hottest day of the year so far and our guests looked as if they were going to melt!), we greeted our guests outside on the deck with a glass or two and some delicious canapés.

We then adventured down to the bottom of the boat where my parents had prepared an embarrassing slide show of photos from my childhood – everyone had a good laugh and the atmosphere was really incredible. With a few words from the best man and the groom himself our health and happiness was toasted to with a glass of gorgeous fizzy rose.

Food was served after the ceremony and everyone enjoyed the wide range of options I had chosen for the buffet. Everyone chatted, ate, drink and generally were merry for the rest of the afternoon. The evening was brought to a close with the musical stylings of the 145s a blues, soul and rock ‘n’ roll band which had us up on our feet!

The day was a great success, everyone had an excellent time and the most important part is that now I am a married lady with hopefully many happy years to come with my husband.
