Farmhouse Black and White Easter Wreath Craft Project

This year Easter falls on April 4th and I will be celebrating with some delicious vegan chocolate eggs (as always)! I don’t tend to do decorate the house too much to celebrate as I like my house fairly minimal, however, there are a few small crafty things I like to do to brighten up the place for Spring and this farmhouse style wreath matches my style perfectly.

This is a fantastic quick project which doesn’t take much time and only uses a few affordable materials; a wreath, some fake flowers and some cute Easter motifs but it really makes a great effect, perfect for hanging on your door or wall to welcome the season.

You will need:

  • 18-inch Grapevine Wreath
  • Black and White Carrots (Hobby Lobby)
  • Black and White wooden bunny (Hobby lobby)
  • 3 Yellow Gerbera Daises (Dollar Tree)
  • 2 Pink Gerbera Daises (Dollar Tree)
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Wire Cutters
  • Glue Sticks

Method:

Using the wire cutters, cut all of the stems leaving about 3 inches.

Next, weave the stems into the grapevines (depending on where you live you might want to use some hot glue to have the flowers stay better).

I alternated the pink and yellow flowers.

Using hot glue, add a few strips to the carrots and then add on top of the pink flowers, I did two carrots on the bottom and then the one on top.

Next, add a generous amount of hot glue to the wooden bunny and add to the grapevine wreath filling in gaps with the hot glue to make sure that it adheres to the grapevines.

Hang up your Easter wreath and feel proud of your festive creation!
