Children’s Design Competition at LDO

I like supporting good causes so when I heard that the London Designer Outlet is raising funds for the Make A Wish Foundation, a children’s charity granting wishes for children and young people aged between 3 and 17 living with life threatening illnesses, I wanted to support them and share their message.

In order to celebrate their new Playpark which recently opened the London Designer Outlet, usually known for cheap designer clothes, is now searching the UK for gifted artistic children to submit drawings of their dream play park. From helter skelters to climbing frames and waterslides the London Designer Outlet is looking for a display of creativity. Just thinking about this reminds me of when I used to play games such as the Sims where I got to be creative and design my character’s homes – I loved it!

Having teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation in an effort to support their granting of magical wishes for ill children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions, the London Designer Outlet will donate £1 for every entry to their drawing competition to the charity, with entrants being in with a chance of winning a VIP family fun day out – including tickets to see Ant & Dec at SSE Wembley Arena, plus a family meal and £100 shopping vouchers!

Well known celebrity Peter Andre, who officially opened London Designer Outlet Playpark and supports a number of charities, will be judging the drawing competition. He will pick one grand prize winning entry as well as an additional 10 runners-up entries. All of the playground designing winners will have their drawings displayed on the London Designer Outlet website.
