Wishlist: Scarlett & Jo
Scarlett & Jo is a brand that I only recently discovered whilst I was online window shopping on the Evans website, it is one of the featured brands on the plus sized fashion site. Scarlett & Jo claims to offer plus sized ladies trend led fun & fearless fashion solutions with shape solutions for the curvy lady. The range offers dresses and top available in sizes 14-26, now with selected styles up to size 32.
Having found Scarlett & Jo I had a little browse through the collection and wanted to share a few of my top picks.
1 Purple contrast 2-in-1 lace insert peplum dress
I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of the peplum, that being said I really find the look and shape of this lace insert attractive. For those of us who want a little mystery around our tummy areas this is a fabulous smart look for the office in a lovely aubergine shade which I would be happy to be seen in.
2 Purple lace prom dress
I love lace detailing on a dress and when I am going out on a special night a lace detailed dress is usually my go to option. I really love both the lace and the layering on this prom style dress which is flattering and stylish at the same time. Pair with some metallic accessories and rock the look!
3 Midnight lace yoke tunic
Lace seems to be a reoccurring detail in the Scarlett & Jo collection, not that I am complaining! This midnight navy lace yoke tunic would certainly make a delightful addition to my wardrobe. With its sweetheart neckline, flattering lace sleeves and layered hem I could see this in the office with leggings or jeans out on the town with some heels.
4 Black beaded crochet collar dress
I was never really sure about the embellished collar trend which has been making the rounds for a while now. However, this beaded crochet collar dress looks to be a flattering variation of the trend which isn’t overpowering. I would be happy to wear this dress to a meeting at work or after work drinks.
5 Black paisley print dress
I like a classic print like paisley, it’s a stylish pattern which looks great in this monochrome shading and teamed with the black mesh shoulder covering. I can see this matched with a fitted blazer and boots for a great outfit.
6 Purple mesh panel skater dress
I am starting to really like skater dresses, they have a great shape and can usually be worn for many different occasions. This skater dress looks great with its mesh shoulder panels and I particularly like the black detail between the purple material and the mesh, it adds some detail to the look.
