The top wedding destinations around the world for 2015

I might be getting a little ahead of myself but it’s a case of ‘the earlier the better’ when it comes to planning something as huge as your wedding.

It also happens to be 131 days (from when this was written!) until Christmas. Not that I’m counting…

Whilst you can get amazing online planners like the wedding site directory that do all the tricky work for you, when it comes to the finer details, it’s your imagination that can run wild.

In terms of the location, it has become so easy to jet off to all corners of the globe. European flights are amazingly affordable and direct flights to America, Australia and Asia means you can get anywhere in the quickest time ever.

Here are some amazing locations that are sure to be popular with couples next spring through to summer:

Egypt

If you’re interested in getting married in March, you may find it’s still a little chilly here in the UK. After all, it’s still trying to brush off the long winter before it. This is the perfect month to consider a wedding abroad. Obviously depending on where you go, you’ll have guarantee sunshine, whereas in Britain, who knows! Cairo, and Egypt in general, is beautiful during early spring. Whilst Egypt can be a little unbearable during the summer heat-wise, during March, it’s just warming up ready for the months ahead. You can take a stunning boat ride down the river Nile and visit one of the seven wonders of the world, discover even more about the Pharoah’s colourful history and spoil yourselves with gorgeous cuisine.

Cuba

If you don’t mind going further abroad for your wedding (your guests either) then the Caribbean is definitely one of the top places to head. For somewhere trendy and a little more low key than the usual Barbados, why not head to Cuba. Cuba is the place of the moment and an exciting honeymoon destination as well as for the wedding. Explore the surrounding greenery and wildlife, take advantage of the wonderful beaches and dance the night away at the many amazing clubs and bars that line the streets.

Thailand

During our spring months, Malaysia and Thailand are having some wonderful weather. With Thailand, you have the vibrant cities in the South (this is where Bangkok is situated for starters!) whilst the North has the amazing jungles and wildlife. The whole country has beautiful beaches so if you’re after that dream beach wedding, you’ve picked the right place!

Iceland

Spring through to summer is a brilliant time to visit Iceland, whether you’re getting married or not. With the Northern Lights and boutique style hotels and restaurants dotted around, this really is a stunning location to start your lives as a married couple. As well as the stunning scenery, there are the trendy bars to celebrate post ceremony and plenty of outdoor activities to keep you and your guests entertained.

If you wish to get married abroad, the location is the main hurdle. Once you have that sorted, then you’re free to plan all those little factors that will truly make your big day unique.
