Wishlist: SCP – Design Manufacturer, Retailer, Collaborator
Whilst browsing through my copy of the Stylist recently I spotted some a small section about stationary and really loved one of the items I saw there: the City Memopad (see below), and I noted that it was from a company I had never heard of before: SCP. So, deciding I wanted to see what else this company had to offer I went onto their website and took a look around. Big mistake! The website is full of amazing furniture, decorations and stationary and now I have a hankering for some of the following items which I think are just great.
Founded in 1985 by Sheridan Coakley, SCP is a manufacturer and retailer of modern furniture as well as classic and hard to find pieces. SCP remains true to its founding idea, to make and sell design products that are functional, beautiful and made to last. SCP works with a huge range of fantastic designers including Terence Woodgate, Konstantin Grcic, Michael Marriott, Russell Pinch, Robin Day, Donna Wilson, Alex Hellum, Kay+Stemmer, Reiko Kaneko, Lucy Kurrein, Timorous Beasties, PearsonLloyd, Rachel Whiteread and Peter Marigold.
Take a look at some of these lovely items available from this quirky and inspirational company:
Bitossi Animals
City Memopad
Faceture bud vase/ candleholder
Sushi Cup Set
Thank you cards
Vintage metal stars
Wrap decanter

This sure sounds like a great company. The quirkiness appeals to me.
I couldn’t help but fall in love with those city post in notes 🙂 I love quirky!
I LOVE that set of cups! So pretty!!
They just look so dainty, I’d love to use them for afternoon tea 🙂
These bits and bobs are really stylish – I’m having a bit of a thing about china at the moment and the cups really appeal!
There’s something about the geometric patterns that I find really appealing 🙂
