#MaplinXmas17 Exclusive Preview Event

A few weeks ago I was invited to attend the Maplin Christmas Preview event to see a selection of their Christmas toys and gadgets range which will be hot hits for this festive season. I am a huge fan of all things Christmas so I was excited to see what we could be expecting from Maplin this year.

Walking into the room felt magical with Christmas music and lights making the room feel very festive! I couldn’t quite believe that there were two big inflatable decorations, a Father Christmas and a Snowman, which certainly made an impact!

It was easy to see that movie-themed toys were going to be big. There was a selection of Star Wars themed toys including a blow-up R2D2 and BB8 which I wanted to take home with me!

Other big hits were sure to be the drones – there was a collection on show at the event including a Star Wars drone, a Spiderman drone and the hit of the evening was the X Drone Pro 720p Quadcopter drone which a few brave people tried to fly around the room without causing too much damage!

I really loved all the smaller items which would make perfect stocking fillers including gadgets and games. I really like the shower-friendly speaker which would make great entertainment while in the shower! Items like the power bank with a built-in compact mirror which is perfect for ladies on the go was very popular amongst the bloggers attending the event.

Other favourites from the event included the Fizz Popcorn Maker, Slush Puppy maker and the Fizz Chocolate Fountain which I was excited to see was included in our goodie bags along with some handy batteries.

The Maplin Christmas preview event has really put me in a festive mood and I can’t wait for Christmas to come this year!
