Review: VIP Electronic Cigarette vaping e-juices

My husband is quickly becoming a connoisseur of vaping, having had the chance to try and review a range of different electronic cigarettes as well as many different e-juices. He recently had the chance to try a selection of VIP Electronic Cigarette’s range of Arcadia Gran Reserva e-juice with 12 new gourmet flavours.

VIP Electronic Cigarette (VIP Cig) was set up with the aim to offer long-term smoking alternative to smokers wanting to quit, with a similar experience to cigarettes but without the health hazards. VIP Cig undertakes extensive research and feedback from smokers when developing products in order to offer the best substitutes they can, designed by smokers for smokers.

Vlad was sent four e-juices from the VIP Arcadia Gran Reserva collection of artisan e-liquid flavours: Holier Than Thou, Melontastic, Ecstasy and Aphrodite. All of the Arcadia Gran Reserva collection flavours are made here in the UK, come with a variety of nicotine levels from 3mg (which my husband vapes) to 12mg and have a 30 PG 70 VG balance which is perfect for sub-ohm vaping, which my husband prefers.

Holier Than Thou

This e-juice is perfect for vapers who enjoy fruity flavours, with a combination of English apples, New Zealand kiwis and Californian black grapes giving it an intense sweet and sharp citrus zing. The Holier Than Thou e-juice has a vibrant orange colour.

Melontastic

If you’re a fan of melon then this is the e-liquid for you! The flavour is made from three different melons: Cantaloupe, watermelon and sweet honeydew which are blended together with a blast of juicy bubble gum for a unique sweet fruity flavour.

Ecstasy

My husband loves e-liquids with creamy flavours so Ecstacy with its blend of hot-baked Crème Brûlée and raspberries combining to create a decadent, sharp and sweet cheesecake blend was bound to be a hit from the off! YUM. If this was a pudding I would be all over it.

Aphrodite

The Greek goddess Aphrodite is synonymous with passion, love and pleasure and VIP Cig have attempted to include all three in this e-liquid with sumptuous flavours of deep brown sugar, citrusy sharp sweetness of strawberry and a large dollop of vanilla custard.

Vlad has really enjoyed testing out the VIP Electronic Cigarette range of Arcadia Gran Reserva e-juices. He has found them all to be bursting with delicious flavours which he has really enjoyed. Aphrodite came out on top as my husband’s favourite with Melontastic a close second.

My husband did find that despite being a 30 PG 70 VG mix the e-juices do have quite a harsh, astringent hit to the back of the throat more often found in 50/50 e-liquids, however, this is not necessarily a bad thing – just not Vlad’s personal preference.

Overall he awards the Arcadia Gran Reserva range 4 out of 5 stars – it would have been full marks if not for the surprising astringency.
