Review: Vintage photo frame from The Other Duckling

I have noticed recently that despite taking tonnes of photographs throughout the year I hardly ever get them printed and displayed proudly around my home or on my desk at work. This makes me a bit sad. It’s great to show off your greatest memories and there’s nothing better than to have some beautiful photo frames to help you do that.

When The Other Duckling got in touch offering me the chance to review one of their lovely vintage frames* I jumped at the chance.

The Other Duckling offers an eclectic collection of accessories for the home alongside home furnishings and gifts including beautiful designer homeware, vintage, shabby chic pieces, ‘fleamarket finds’ and a selection of exclusive knitted textiles and greetings cards.

It took me a long time to browse through the collections on the Other Duckling’s website and I finally settled upon a lovely purple vintage style photo frame. This is a edgy wooden photo frame which has been painted in my favourite colour and distressed for a vintage, shabby chic look. I really like the look of the frame with it’s distressed look bringing something a bit different into my otherwise modern-style home.

I plan to find the perfect photo to put in this lovely frame and find a place to it on my desk at work so when I get stressed I have something to make me smile! I award the frame 4 stars and I will  be checking out The Other Duckling for more beautiful pieces which are probably going to end up on my Christmas list!
