Review: Tie Dye Coin Scarf from Nomads Clothing

When it comes to accessories I have pretty simple tastes tending towards my every day necklace, handbag, Sicilian scarf, wedding and engagement rings and a charity band for hidradenitis suppurativa. This selection is usually the same every day but I do like to change things up once in a while, so when Nomads Clothing offered me the chance to review their Tie Dye Coin Scarf* I was happy to try something new.

Nomads Clothing is the brainchild of Duncan and Vicky who met in the 80s while backpacking around India. They used the last of their money to fill up a trunk of wonderful ethnic clothes and head back to the UK before setting up their clothing company inspired by their times in India and the local crafts, working with designers to create items for the European market with a bohemian fashion with an ethnic feel.

Nomads Clothing  is a brand for the individual woman who sees life as a wonderful adventure. The ranges offer colourful, comfortable and flattering feminine clothes which follow fair trade and ethical fashion guidelines. The team from Nomads Clothing continue to revisit India several times a year to be inspired for their seasonal collections and work with designers back in the UK using exclusive prints and unique styles.

The square tie dye coin scarf is made from a soft, sheer cotton voilein in lovely pastel shades, embellished with antique discs. My scarf is a lovely dusky pink which is perfect for spring, not only offering me protection against the British weather but being a really attractive feature accessory.  Nomads recommend layering the dusky pink scarf over a plain sleeveless top and combine with the skinny jeans.

I really like the look of the scarf which certainly oozes boho chic with the lovely dusky tie dye. I particularly think the metallic discs are a nice touch with the contrast between the hard metal and soft pastel being an attractive combination. The scarf has a lovely soft feel to the touch and is easy to wear without being scratchy or otherwise uncomfortable. My only concern is that the discs may work themselves loose, but only time will tell.

I award the Tie Dye Coin Scarf from Nomads Clothing 5 out of 5 stars for being a lovely soft scarf with a great bohemian look which is warm as well as stylish.

  1. Hey Micaela,

    How are you?

I just came across your site and I must say I think it’s so cool, especially the interior section!

One thing that really stood out though was that I noticed in this post you said you wear a band for Hidradenitis Suppurativa? I was wondering do o you suffer from this too?
