Review: TaoTronics Bluetooth Shower Speaker

Who doesn’t love to sing in the shower? I know that I love to sing anywhere. When it came to finding a stocking filler gift for my husband for Christmas I decided to get him a waterproof speaker so that he could enjoy listening to music in the morning to get him motivated before heading off to work.

There are a few different shower suitable speakers available but the TaoTronics Bluetooth Shower Speaker caught my eye when I was browsing on Amazon so I bought it and wrapped it up for December 25th as a little surprise for Vlad.

The TaoTronics Bluetooth Shower Speaker is a wireless device which comes in a water-resistant casing, making it protected from splashing water, with a suction cup to keep it attached to a surface and it can be enjoyed in the shower, bathtub, beach, or boat.

The speaker is small, wireless, and ready to go and boasts superior audio playback. It is easy to connect to the speaker via Bluetooth from smartphones, tablets etc, it only takes a minute or two to get it paired and playing. The speaker also allows you to scroll through the songs on your playlist so there’s no need to get your device wet to change the tune.

A bonus feature is that the speaker can double as a hands-free call option, so you will be notified if someone is calling you on the phone and if you’re relaxing in the bath or had a dip in the pool and are too wet to answer, the built-in microphone allows you to chat without getting your phone wet.

So, how have we been getting on with the TaoTronics Bluetooth Shower Speaker? So far I have been impressed by the little speaker which has a full sound despite its size, even my husband who is quite fussy about speakers has commented on the decent sound quality.

Although it has fallen off the wall a couple of times I generally have found it to be a great way to play music whilst in the shower, a great way to get motivated for the day ahead. I award the TaoTronics Bluetooth Shower Speaker 5 out of 5 stars.
