Review: Personalised #tablet case from Wrappz

There are lots of personalising services online offering a huge range of products from phone cases and notebooks to t-shirts and flipflops, today I wanted to take a little time to tell you about one particular service: Wrappz, whom offered me the chance to review their service kindly providing me with a personalised Samsung Galaxy 10.1 inch Leather Case*.

Wrappz was established in 2007 and has been offering cases and skins for our favourite gadgets every since, with customising software which offers the chance to easily create a unique design just for you. To personalise the case you can simply upload your photos and add text – there is also a large library of images and background designs available to help you out. Wrappz products don’t only offer you the chance to have a stylish look, but also offer practical protection for your device. All of the products are proudly made in the UK.

My personalised Samsung Galaxy Tab case is one of the faux leather cases from Wrappz, which offers a cradle design made including top-line faux leather and black microfiber lining which works to safeguard the Samsung tablet at the same time looking stylish. The case also has a lovely soft-to-the-touch cradle with it’s resilient covering working to keep the contained device scratch, dent and ding free – so you can slip your tablet in your bag without the worry of damage from keys or other items.

I was very impressed with the speed with which the case arrived, practically the next day, which is great! I hate waiting around for items I have ordered to arrive so the speedy service gets a big thumbs up. The quality of the case has been exceptional, I have found the magnetic fasteners were easy to use and fast to secure themselves ensuring my tablet was safe, quickly. Additionally the build is good, with solid stitching and the materials are of high quality. When it comes to the personalised part of the case (my husband wanted the case for himself and so he went for a photo of one of his tarantulas!) the print quality is really good with no blurring or pixelating on the top case. The printed top also helps to protect the Samsung tab as it is a solid piece of plastic which will protect the screen from damage.

There were a few negatives to this case, the first being that the Samsung 10.1 tablet does not quite  fit as it should, probably because this case is designed for both the Tabs 1 & 2, this incorrect fit means that the edges either side of the screen roll up which can be annoying. Although the solid printed plastic front is great for protection it can also case the front of the case to roll up and get in the way of the magnets closing sometimes. The case is a little pricy, coming in around £30, and there are no added value extras such as a incorporated stand – that being said it’s a simple, no frills case with great quality materials that feels solid and protective and if you’re after making a style statement with a personalised item then it is worth the cost.

Wrappz do not only offer cases and skins for devices, but their range has grown over the years to include more innovative, practical to use, eye-catching items which could be for yourself or even as a gift. New items (available to personalise) include: a range of drink-ware, photo panels, pillows, cushions, dog beds, home decor items, desk and kitchen calendars.

After a good few weeks of testing I am giving the personalised case 3 out of 5 stars for being practical, of great quality and generally looking great with my husband’s personalised photo of one of his tarantulas!
