Review: Olixar X2 Pro Bluetooth Stereo Headphones

Not that long ago I purchased some wireless headphones which I have really enjoyed using and my husband, being a music junkie, really fancied a pair for himself so when Mobile Fun got in touch offering him the Olixar X2 Pro Headphones in return for an honest review he was very happy to get involved.

The Olixar X2 Pro headphones are described as being lightweight and portable, yet offering crystal clear sound with rich defined bass for a full audio experience with an additional bonus of being foldable which my husband has found very handy for storage. The headphones use Bluetooth 4.0 wireless technology to allow the user 10m of freedom from their music device, offering stable connectivity and top sound quality. The headphones come with a 3.5mm line-in input for us with devices which are not Bluetooth enabled. The headphones have 10 hours of playback, after which you can use the cable to keep the music going.

The headphones also feature NFC (Near-Field Communication) which means you can pair easily with a wide range of NFC devices such as mobile phones by touching them together, making it fast and simple to connect to an audio source. Designed not just for listening to music, the Olixar X2 Pro headphones come with an in built microphone which makes it possible to use them to make hands-free phone calls via the buttons on the headset. If you’re a skype user you can also use the headphones as a wireless headset as it is enabled for VoIP communication. Featuring echo and noise cancellation, your calls will be clear from interference and other audio distractions.

Controls are always something a bit different when it comes to wireless headphones and this set come with on-ear playback function buttons which allow you to play/pause/ skip tracks as well as adjust the volume levels for a comfortable audio experience. My husband has struggled with these controls as there is some confusion between the volume and other functions. To adjust the volume you must hold the buttons, so if you press for a short amount of time you end up skipping the track which can be frustrating.

My husband has found the Olixar X2 Pro headphones to be very comfortable to wear even for long periods of time, with the ear cups offering soft contact with the ear and yet being solid enough not to slip off all the time. The padded headband is versatile and can be sized for all head sizes. In terms of sound quality my husband has been very happy with the X2 headphones, reporting that they have fair mid and trebles with solid bass response without being overwhelming which is perfect for him as he listens to a lot of rock music!

Overall my husband has really enjoyed listening to music via the Olixar X2 Pro headphones from Mobile Fun. If not for the slightly dodgy controls he would award them full marks, so he has given them a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
