Review: Lee Stafford Hair Straightener with #giveaway

I have noticed more and more that my hair tends to get a bit frizzy in the colder, windier weather (much to my annoyance) and despite trying to use anti-frizz products nothing really solves the problem other than giving my hair a good old fashioned straighten. Luckily I was recently sent a set of Lee Stafford Hair Straighteners to review to help solve my frizz problem.

The Lee Stafford Hair Straighteners (available on Amazon) are described as the most advanced flat iron hair straighteners on the market, incorporating an ultra-fast heat up system (a mere 10 seconds) and nano silver titanium flat iron plates for ease of use, silky smooth straight hair and quick use.

Key for me is the ionic function which produces negative ions resulting in smooth, frizz-free hair. The straighteners come in an attractive matte black finish, designed with handy grip points for a better grip while styling to prevent painful accidents.

The straighteners boast a variable heat selection which allows you to choose the best temperature for your hair type to avoid damage and ensure the best results, from 80°C to 230°C. A handy guide for choosing the correct temperature is included, I use 170°C for my hair which is medium-thick with the higher temperatures being suited to thicker hair.

Included in the box alongside the straighteners is a heat protection guard which slips over the end of the straighteners and provides protection from the high temperatures for the user, as well as ensuring they remain intact during travel and storage. Also included is a five-year warranty against all mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing defects.

So, how have I found using the Lee Stafford Hair Straighteners? I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised at how easy they have been to use with the flat iron plates skimming through hair easily without snagging. After using the straighteners my hair feels softer and sleeker with a more neat appearance and a lack of frizz! They are certainly very fast to heat up and I like the flexibility of the variable temperatures.
