Review: Brainwavz Truss & Hengja Headphone Hangers

Brainwavz Truss & Hengja Headphone Hangers

When it comes to keeping headphones safe I have a bad track record. When I used to commute to London every day I relied on my headphones to entertain me on the long hour and a half journey and I have to admit I wasn’t the best looking after them. Of course, when I got to my desk I just tossed them down and they spent the day kicking about next to my computer.

Luckily there are handy storage options for people who love listening to music at their desk but find themselves damaging or misplacing them during the day due to shoddy care. I have blogged about Brainwavz and their headphone hangers before so I was super happy to get the chance to review their newest products the Truss and Henja.

Brainwavz Truss

The Brainwavz Truss is a headphones hanger designed to keep two headphones safe from harm and neatly stored. The truss is solid and dependable, made from solid aluminium which holds headphones of all sizes and weights without bending or breaking. You can store and protect multiple headphones in a neat and comfortable manner.

The Truss is perfect for placing under desks, tables and shelves for easy access and safe storage. Smaller than a headphone stand it is perfect for removing headphones from your desk space which otherwise may clutter up and annoy you whilst you are working. The strong and reliable 3M VBH tape secures the Truss to any surface and is easy to apply.

I think that the Brainwavz Truss looks very attractive with the sleek black matte finish which appeals to the part of me which really loves the industrial style.

Brainwavz Hengja

The Brainwavz Hengja is similar to the Truss in that it offers a practical headphone desk hanger that is suitable for large or small headphones of almost any weight. Again, it is made from an attractively finished solid aluminium for a strong, durable and safe storage option for your headphones.

Where the Hengja differs from the Truss is that (excitingly) it employs a clamp system which allows headphones to sit comfortably on the rest as its clamped to your desk, table or shelving unit. The Hengja has a rotatable design meaning it can be attached horizontally on desks, tables and shelves or can be rotated to fit on vertical surfaces such as table legs and shelving units which makes it super versatile!

The Hengja doesn’t use glue so it is a no mess option which can be adjusted to fit on to desks and tables of different thickness.

I have enjoyed testing out both the Truss and Henjga headphone storage solutions and have found them to be reliable, useful and space saving. I award them both 5 out of 5 stars and would certainly recommend them as Christmas gifts for anyone who loves to listen to music!
