Dating Dress Diary

flowersI must admit I have mix feelings about Valentine’s Day. Back in the day when I had my own business I was in love with it! Sales went up by three times, I was making more money than usual and after a long day of hard work I was given extra love and flowers … oh dear, and how I love the flowers part. Love is celebrated this day as if we don’t really have it any other day but I am lucky enough to feel it and appreciate it every single minute of my life.

I wish I could write about all my memories from my previous dates and lovers but unfortunately I don’t remember all of them … not because they weren’t special or because I had too much wine, it was too easy to Google ‘Manchester Dating Site‘ and find someone to enjoy and evening with … I just don’t like to look back, I try to do it only a few times and think about the fun memories … so here is one of my recent ones and I’ll be happy to share it today with you to take part on a blogger competition of one my favourite brands Coast.

So here it is, my first year in London was magical, I met wonderful people, adapted to a whole new world of financial studies, new friendships and … of course that special “person” who made it all even better. We are not together anymore but I keep the best memories of London thanks to his group of friends and his Kenyan happy way to enjoy life.

pink-champagneWe went out for dinner to a very fancy restaurant in Mayfair and decided to meet some friends in a club around the area. This year the snow in London caused chaos and the city collapsed late at night by people trying to find their way back home while finding good excuses to stay warm in the arms of their love ones. We had a few drinks so my movements weren’t very strong and I had the most uncomfortable high heels from Dune that I’ve ever have. So do the maths.

Having no much experience walking on the snow on high heels – I’m from Venezuela so not much practice there!- I refused to take my heals off after the night out and just right in front of our door I fell on the snow well … on my face! Yes on my face.

The next day I woke up with a black eye and everyone at work thought I had a fight with my boy, and start calling me RHIANA for the rest of the week. Crazy week.

If I could change something about that day I would start from my shoes and a wonderful dress from Coast inspired by romance and elegance. The Hortenenese Dress features delicates details and texture in the top with a touch of sophistication. Totally in love with it!

I’m sure with this outfit I would have been safer. I hope you like it!
