#Christmas #Cocktail Inspiration

There’s nothing better than sharing some festive drinks with friends and family at Christmas time. Helping us out this year is Funkin Cocktails who have come up with some fabulous mixes to brighten up any seasonal tipple. I was lucky enough to recieve a selection of their cocktail mixes and wanted to share with you some of their recipes for you to enjoy at home this December:

Winter Woonderland

  • 35 ml Vodka
  • 100 ml Funkin Woo Woo cocktail mixer
  • Top with Lemonade

Traditionally a woo woo is made of vodka, peach schnapps, and cranberry juice. Use the Funkin mix as great, speedy alternative. Fill a glass with ice and top with Lemonade. Stir, garnish with lemon wedges and a mint sprig for some added zest. Serve in a tall glass.

Festive Bellini

  • 35 ml Sparkling Wine
  • 100 ml Funkin Peach Bellini cocktail mixer

Quick and simple, serve your belini in Champagne flute, great to offer guests when they arrive at a festive do to enjoy whilst they mingle. For some extra impact sprinkle with edible glitter for some Christmas sparkle!

Winter Daiquiri

  • 35 ml Rum
  • 100 ml Funkin Strawberry Daiquiri cocktail mixer
  • Top with Lemonade

Everyone loves a good daiquiri, I have to admit it is one of my favourite cocktails. Traditionally a mix of rum, citrus and sugar use the strawberry mix for a colourful and festive drink. Fill a glass with ice and top with Lemonade. Stir, garnish with a scrumptious strawberry. Serve in a martini glass.

Christmas Cherry Colada

  • 25 ml Malibu rum
  • 25 ml Cherry Liqueur
  • 100 ml funkin Piña Colada cocktail mixer
  • 10 ml Grenadine Syrup

Normally a Piña Colada is made with a mix of rum, cream of coconut, and pineapple juice, but this is a great twist using cherries and a sweet twist of grenadine. Shake & Strain over fresh ice and garnish with a pineapple leaf and a cocktail cherry for that Christmas touch. Serve in a tall glass.
