Celebrating #British #Summer with Pimm’s Pop-Up Bar

There is no better way to celebrate the British summer than a cool glass of Pimm’s. Am I wrong? So I was very happy when I was invited to come along to their Pimm’s Teapot Pop-Up Bar on South Molton Street just behind Bond Street Tube Station in London to relax in the sun and try some of their flavours.

Open from Tuesday 30 June to Sunday 12 July from 7PM to 9PM the Pimm’s Teapot Pop-Up Bar is a summer oasis in the hustle and bustle of the big city offering you the chance to take a breather and refresh yourself! South Molton Street has been transformed into what could easily be a court-side venue (complete with white picket fence) serving a number of Pimm’s cocktails, chocolate covered strawberries and classic finger sandwiches. Very dainty!

I say court-side, because you almost feel like you are at Wimbledon what with the grass, tennis ball decorations and of course strawberries and cream. You can enjoy the summer and your favourite tennis stars because they have big screens where you can watch all the matches. With Pimm’s being served by the glass and topped up with watering cans it really is a quirky evening spot!

I went along with 3 of my blogger gal pals and we found it to be a delightful experience – we tried many different flavours of Pimm’s including classic, strawberry and blackcurrent and elderflower. My personal favourite was the strawberry which is sweeter than the classic Pimm’s and really speaks of British summer. We also sampled the adorable finger sandwiches which came with ham & mustard (fiery!), salmon or cucumber and cream cheese.

Of course we couldn’t leave without trying the strawberries and cream (served from a tea pot, of course!) which were juicy and delicious. I can really recommend spending some time at the Pimm’s Teapot Pop-Up Bar over the next couple of weeks and enjoying the tranquility and indulgence of cocktails,  dainty nibbles and of course the tennis.
